Our Story · Page One
From one maple season...
Wild Bubble Co. wasn’t born from a business plan. It started with a single maple season.
Chapter One
The first boil
Years ago, while living in the Midwest, I decided to tap a handful of sugar maple trees on our property. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Before long, five-gallon buckets of sap were piling up faster than I could process them. Every heat source I owned was running nonstop, trying to boil gallons of sap down into a few precious ounces of maple syrup.
More than once I became distracted, only to come back to a kitchen completely filled with white smoke after a pot had boiled dry.
It wasn’t exactly a polished beginning.

But somewhere in that chaos I became fascinated by the process. Watching nearly forty gallons of sap become a single gallon of syrup made me appreciate just how much flavor could come from nature with nothing more than patience and a little experimentation.
When maple season ended, I wasn’t ready to stop.
Chapter Two
Curiosity takes over
I started looking around my own property differently. We had towering shagbark hickories, wild plants, herbs, and countless natural ingredients I’d never really considered before.
One experiment turned into another. Some worked beautifully. Others were complete failures. Every batch taught me something new.
That curiosity followed us to Arizona.

Chapter Three
An Arizona apothecary
As our small farm grew, so did my interest in herbalism. Our home slowly filled with shelves of roots, herbs, flowers, spices, mushrooms, and botanicals from around the world.
What began as experimenting with syrups naturally expanded into making loose-leaf teas, herbal blends, tinctures, and natural wellness products. Learning the history, flavor, and traditional uses of plants became just as rewarding as creating something with them.
Today, our in-home apothecary is one of the most-used rooms in the house.

It’s where new tea blends are developed, where herbal ideas are tested, and where the occasional thought of, “I wonder what these would taste like together?” usually turns into another weekend experiment.
Chapter Four
Then the bubbles started
Some of those experiments became homemade botanical sodas.
There was never a grand plan. We’d create a syrup, carbonate some water, pour a few glasses, and see what happened. Sometimes we’d stumble onto something incredible.
Before long, making homemade soda became another thing our family enjoyed doing together—especially for movie nights, or whenever we wanted something that felt like a treat without reaching for a bottle full of artificial flavors.

Every once in a while we’d share one of those creations on our farm’s social media. The response was always the same: people wanted to know what we were making.
That’s when Wild Bubble Co. finally made sense.
Instead of selling another finished beverage, why not share the recipes and let other families experience the fun of making them at home?
Today, Wild Bubble Co. is a natural extension of everything we already love: homesteading, herbalism, real ingredients, and the simple satisfaction of creating something from scratch.
We’re still experimenting. We’re still learning. And there’s usually something bubbling away on the stove.
This isn’t about our family anymore.
Now it’s about creating this tradition in yours.
